Dr. Melanie Mitchel

Dr. Melanie Mitchell is a Dallas native and attended Texas A&M where she received her bachelor's degree in Animal Science with a minor in Business before graduating with honors from the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Mitchell has known she wanted to be a veterinarian since she was very young and started volunteering in the kennel at Midway Hollow Pet Clinic during high school. Dr. Mitchell has 2 cats, Oliver and Grace, and a chocolate Labrador Retriever named Sadie. Fun fact: Dr. Mitchell found a small kitten in her backyard on a rainy day in 2003 and brought her into the clinic. That kitten was our clinic cat, Pluto!
